compromise

As a realationship grows, so does your capacity for romance. I think romance is addictive! It makes us feel like we're on top of the world. As time goes by, I like to think of the memories made and cherished moments. but alas, it does take work. Nothing is ever easy. You need to make a sustained effort to stay connected and work out your differences, and to make things new and interesting. I am saddened when couples just "don't do the work." They may be great people as individuals, but as a unit, they suck! It is usually "my way or the highway." And it just doesn't work like that. Compromise, Compromise, Compromise. There is a happy medium. But most aren't willing to sacrifice. Don't get me wrong, I have had my share, but for me, in areas in my life, ( whatever they may be) I'm in it for the long haul, and not just for fun and games.
